Jordana L. Jarjura is a distinguished Martindale-Hubbell AV-rated attorney offering real estate legal and consulting services. With a comprehensive approach to the development process, Jordana navigates clients through acquisition, concept, entitlement, construction, leasing, and property management. She also represents clients in securing government construction contracts procurement opportunities, and government relations. In addition, Jordana has worked in the hospitality and the F&B industries, overseeing third party managers and budgets, and offers general counsel services to restaurants and hoteliers.
Previously, as President and General Counsel for a South Florida development company with a real estate portfolio of $750 million, Jordana played a pivotal role in all facets of new acquisitions and project execution, leasing and property management. She oversaw construction projects with values ranging from $1.5 million to $85 million, and the acquisition, opening and/or management of a seven food and beverage outlets and two hotels.
Prior to that, Jordana was General Counsel for a South Florida construction company, where she advised on all legal matters including all construction contracts, both commercial and residential, and government contracts. Additionally, Jordana drew upon her significant government law experience to assist with the pursuit and management of government projects, as well as to advise the company’s private sector clients on their entitlement and permitting goals.
Before going in house, Jordana was a Partner at two leading Florida law firms, whereher private practice focused on government affairs, development entitlements, government contracts, and land use/zoning appeals. She successfully led development and construction teams on commercial and government projects ranging from $5 million and $150 million.
Before moving into government affairs, Jordana began her legal career handling land use and zoning appeals with a large Florida law firm. She has found that the combination of knowledgeable lobbying with a mindful eye on litigation is very effective in meeting her clients’ needs.
Elected in 2014, Jordana is the former Vice Mayor of the City of Delray Beach, where she oversaw a $132 million general fund budget and a $236 million capital improvement program. She also served on the Palm Beach County MPO, the PBC State Attorney’s Sober Homes Task Force, the South Central Regional Wastewater and Disposal Treatment Board, the Delray Beach Planning and Zoning Board, and the City of Fort Lauderdale Beach CRA Advisory Board.
A resident of Palm Beach County for over 35 years, including two decades in Delray Beach’s lauded Downtown, Jordana has actively contributed to her community. She has served on the Boards of Bound for College, the Crockett Foundation, and Old School Square. Additionally, she taught business law as an Adjunct Professor at Lynn University’s MBA program and is a member of Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class 35.
Jordana has a B.A. from the University of Florida, a JD from Pepperdine University’s School of Law, and a MBA from the Graziadio School of Business and Management.
